F.E. Exam Review
The Fundamental of Enginering (F.E.) Exam is typically the first step in the process leading to the Professional Engineering (P.E.) license. It is designed for students who are close to finishing an undergraduate engineering degree. The exam lasts 8 hours and is administered in April and October.
With the help of industry professionals and members of the IEEE New Orleans Executive Committee, the IEEE UNO Student Branch is pleased to sponsor F.E. Exam review sessions preceeding both the April and October annual exams to refresh students on topics covered throughout the undergraduate electical and computer engineering curriculum. Advanced registration is required for participation in the review sessions to allow for adequate preparation of materials. Persons interested in participating may register online by following the link below. There is a nominal fee required to participate in the review session to cover the cost of review materials.
Please visit the NCEES website for further details regarding the exam.
All students in the UNO College of Engineering are required to take the F.E. Exam in conjunction with ENGR 3090 (Sr. Seminar) to be eligible for graduation.
